Unlike traditional Design of Experiments (DoE), which relies on a more rigid design space and a high number of experiments, Reactwise employs Bayesian optimization to actively learn about a specific process. This enables a significant reduction in the number of experiments needed to identify ideal process conditions. Moreover, our approach develops machine-readable representations to capture underlying chemistry and molecular properties, overcoming the limitations of parallel designs required in DoE for categorical parameters.
